I'm a Southern California-raised, Midwest-based UX designer with 10+ years of experience. I started out in fine arts, then pivoted into UX. I was drawn to the left-brained side of it: every decision grounded in data and research rather than personal preference. I've been asking why since I was a kid (just ask my parents). I don't just stop at why something is the way it is, but why that's actually true. I dig until I get to the real answer. That curiosity has taken me across a lot of different industries, and I've found that skills carry over more than people expect.
